Kristy ThomasPlacental Analytics sponsored Masters Degree candidate in Mathematics Kristy Thomas is writing image processing algorithms used in the analysis of segmented pathology slides. She is pursuing her Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science at the University of Oregon. Kristy’s research fellowship is being supported by Placental Analytics and her research advisor is Matthew Sottile, PhD. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2008, earned the honor of professional distinctions, and was a Ford Scholar. Kristy is the mother of three kids and enjoys playing on the computer science dodgeball team as the key dodger, lead deflector and supervisor in charge of spirit enhancement. |
